That’s why we’re pleased to introduce the next stage in our approach to cleaner temporary power: our RoyPow Power Store units and PC15KT Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) can now be supplied pre-charged using renewable energy generated from Solar PV.

Battery Energy Storage Systems are already transforming the way temporary and mobile power is delivered across construction, events, film and television, infrastructure and industrial applications.
Unlike conventional diesel generators, a BESS can provide power without an engine constantly running. This means zero local exhaust emissions during battery operation, significantly reduced noise and considerably less maintenance.
However, there is another part of the sustainability equation: where did the electricity used to charge the battery come from?
ESS Power Store is addressing this by using Solar PV-generated renewable electricity to charge our Power Store fleet. Units can therefore leave us pre-charged with renewable energy, ready to be deployed to the customer.
It creates a simple energy journey:
Sunlight → Solar PV → Battery Storage → Customer Site → Clean Power
Renewable Energy in a Portable Format
The concept is particularly powerful for temporary power.
Solar generation doesn’t necessarily have to be located where the electricity is ultimately consumed. By generating renewable electricity at our charging location and storing that energy within the BESS, we can effectively transport stored renewable electricity to where it is needed.
Our RoyPow Power Store units provide a flexible solution for applications requiring clean, quiet and dependable temporary power. Alongside them, the RoyPow PC15KT provides another highly portable BESS option for applications where compact, mobile energy storage is required.
Both are now available from ESS Power Store pre-charged from our renewable Solar PV supply.
